Chairman of the International Union of Lawyers A. Trebkov December 19 approved the composition of the standing commission on international cooperation
By the decision of the Coordinating Council of the International Union of Lawyers of December 6, 2019, a standing commission on international cooperation was created. And after two weeks on December 19 this year Chairman of the International Union of Lawyers A. Trebkov approved the composition of this commission (lists of members). Twenty-two (22) scientists and famous lawyers from 17 countries joined this commission, including representatives from the USA, China, Great Britain, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Israel, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and other countries. A well-known scientist in the world, adviser on international law of the US State Department, head of the American branch of the International Law Association Jim Nafziger was appointed Chief Counselor of the Commission. Another well-known American scientist, professor of the University of Syracuse (New York), John Wolohan was appointed as the commission coordinator. There are also heads of law firms, well-known attorneys at-law, a judge of the Arbitration Sports Court in Lausanne (Switzerland) Anton Jagodic, a priest and same time a professor of administrative law at the Polish Catholic University in Lublin Slavomir Fundowicz. The composition of the commission will be constantly replenished with new members, taking into account new challenges arising in connection with the threats and challenges of the modern world. In the nearest future, the Regulation on the Commission will be approved. The Commission was headed by the Deputy Chairman of our Union, member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Sports Law Anatoly Peskov.
